Crafting experience:

During my first encounter with the unity’s modeling process, I learned many techniques to create the world I want to express, even though it was quite different from my initial conception. Through the newly learned methods, I promptly sought help and solve the problem. Even when remaking the world due to a computer virus, it gave me new creative ideas and opportunities. For instance, at the very beginning, I only focused on the details to build a well, but I have a more structured crafting process after I remaking the world.

At first, I attempted to create a rural atmosphere of my world building, but considering the integrity of the world and the completeness of the phased present of the model, I chose a pure white model to create the world. For instance, start with the model of the mountains and then move on to details such as small boats, markets, and houses.

Moreover, when using blue for the plane to distinguish the land from other models, the blue and white colors reminded me of villages, markets, tourism area near glaciers or snow in the high - latitude region. Therefore, when I was making my glacier town later on, I retained the original white color of the model and added other details, trying my best to create a feeling similar to that of a tourist village in a cold area.

Additionally, another reason for choosing to keep a large area of white is that I once lost the production progress of the world due to a computer virus during the crafting process. Thus, leaving a large area of white has saved me a lot of creation time and achieved the best possible visual affect.

In conclusion, I have learn various digital techniques that I have never encountered before and have developed a great interest in this type of modeling project.
